Superyou School Starters: Helping little ones prepare for the transition to kindy or primary school
Superyou School Starters is a group designed specifically to support children entering Kindy or Pre Primary in 2024!
Many children find the structure of kindy and pre-primary to be overwhelming, and as parents, it can be equally stressful trying to help them navigate these changes.
But Superyou School Starters is here to help! These small group sessions will be run in January across a 2-week period, for 2 hours a day.

Our trained Superyou Therapy clinicians will be focusing on helping your little one learn the essential skills to ensure a smooth transition into primary school, focusing on key elements like:
Communication
Enhancing verbal and non-verbal communication skills for effective expression.
Fine motor skills
Developing precise hand-eye coordination and dexterity for improved writing and drawing abilities.
Sensory regulation
Promoting self-awareness and strategies to manage sensory input for optimal focus and attention.
Emotional regulation
Cultivating emotional intelligence and coping mechanisms to navigate various feelings and situations.
Self-care skills
Encouraging independence in daily activities such as dressing, eating, and personal hygiene.
Following routine
Establishing a structured routine to foster organisation and responsibility.
Social communication and play
Building social skills, teamwork, and cooperation through interactive play and group activities.

Week Two:
Monday, 22 January from 9-11am.
Tuesday, 23 January from 9-11am.
Wednesday, 24 January from 9-11am.
Thursday, 25 January from 9-11am.
Cost
$1940 per child.
Funding: Can use NDIS plan (improved daily living).
