Additional Info
You can join a group at any stage, but will need to follow cancellation policy if unable to attend sessions throughout the group’s duration.
If there are sessions you know you can’t attend because of prior commitments, please let us know during registration or as soon as possible. **Please provide us with at least 7 days’ notice for any necessary cancellations.**
Parents will need to book 45 minutes (billed) of face-to-face or online meetings prior to the group sessions so that the group clinician facilitator can determine the most suitable group.
During this meeting, we’ll be looking to meet the following objectives:
- Parents can discuss their concerns with clinicians without kids so clinicians can better support your child in the group and attend to their needs.
- Discuss the expectations of the group (e.g., billing, client-led)
- Intro to neurodiverse affirming strategies
Please note: Anyone booking into the Young Adults or Adults groups aren’t required to have parents involved for this meeting (but they are more than welcome to have parents attend). They can request to book 30 minutes of meeting time before attending the group.
