What drove you to choose a career in your discipline?

After finishing school I knew I wanted to go into the allied health space. I was drawn to Speech Pathology because there are so many different areas we can support people in, meaning that no one day is the same and there are always new things to learn.

Do you have any special interest areas in therapy?

I enjoy working across a wide variety of practice areas, but have a growing passion for working with school aged and teenage clients and supporting families with mealtimes.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

I really enjoy being a part of my clients’ lives and finding out all about their unique interests and passions. I was very excited to put my newfound Bluey knowledge to use in a quiz night recently.

Why did you join Superyou?

I joined Superyou to work alongside and learn from knowledgeable and passionate individuals. I also wanted to work within an organisation that values and encourages creative thinking.

What does Reimagining Therapy look like to you?

To me, reimagining therapy is about thinking outside of the box to shape therapy sessions around my clients’ interests. This makes for motivating sessions and the achievement of functional outcomes.
