What drove you to choose a career in your discipline?
I love the variety and diversity the role can bring and that everyday is different. I love that OT is broad and that I am constantly learning new things.
Do you have any special interest areas in therapy?
I love assistive technology and am currently upskilling in this area.
What’s your favourite part of your job?
My favourite part of the job is being able to see a difference in someone’s life after therapy intervention and the impact that can have on the client and their families.
Why did you join Superyou?
To be supported in bringing my own perspectives and creativity to my practice and to learn about the broad range of services that Superyou provides for people with disability.
What does Reimagining Therapy look like to you?
To me, Reimagining Therapy means harnessing the power of assistive technology to unlock potential for client. It is about not getting equipment that the client fits but equipment that fits the client and finding creative ways to do that!
