What drove you to choose a career in your discipline?
I have always had such positive memories of Speech Pathology through my own experience as a little girl, and wanted to be able to learn more about this profession. Little did I know, I was about to learn what a rewarding, people centred, compassionate, fun, challenging career I was embarking on, where I am able to support, grow, play and advocate with the most amazing little people and their families every day. I have never looked back.
Do you have any special interest areas in therapy?
My passion is within Early Childhood Intervention and all that this entails, including supporting language development, fostering play and fun, developing speech and literacy, exploring alternative communicative methods (AAC), coaching parents and teachers and advocating for inclusion within all of their favourite activities.
What's your favourite part of your job?
My favourite part of my role is developing such long term relationships with my clients and their families. It is such a privilege to be a part of a child's journey and supporting meaningful goals alongside their family as they grow and begin to explore new skills, relationships and environments.
Why did you join Superyou?
I joined Superyou to be a part of a culture that advocated for each clinician as an individual, supporting their individual career goals, interest areas and creating flexibility that allows me to achieve a positive work life balance.

What does Reimagining Therapy look like to you?
Identifying solutions that suit the individual!
Wild card question - do you have anything else you'd like included in your bio?
When not working with Superyou, I can be found singing with my piano and guitar at popular Perth venues or events!

Sarah Roseboom
Fremantle
Sarah is a speech pathologist who brings warmth, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the power of communication to her work with children, young people, and families. Her background in tutoring and out‑of‑school‑hours care laid the foundation for her strengths‑focused approach—one built on understanding individual needs, forming genuine connections, and creating supportive environments where clients can thrive. Inspired by seeing the meaningful impact speech therapy had on people close to her, Sarah was drawn to a career where she could help others experience greater confidence and independence through communication.
Sarah has a strong interest in early childhood intervention and a growing passion for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She is especially drawn to family‑centred, play‑based therapy that builds skills within the moments and routines that matter most. She loves getting to know clients and their families on a personal level and finds joy in celebrating both the big milestones and the small, meaningful steps along the way.
She chose to join Superyou for its warm, collaborative culture and the way the team genuinely supports one another. Sarah values being part of a workplace that cares for its clinicians as much as its clients, recognising that supported therapists can create truly impactful outcomes.
For Sarah, reimagining therapy means being flexible, creative, and open to approaches that best suit each family—even if they look a little unconventional. Outside of work, she enjoys sunset trips to the beach, relaxing with music, and playing the harp, a passion she has cherished since childhood.

Tracy Spencer
Fremantle
With over 15 years of experience in the field of Occupational Therapy, Tracy has had the privilege of working with individuals across all age groups, primarily in the areas of disability and psychosocial disability. More recently, she has focused on supporting autistic adults—especially those who are late diagnosed—as well as adults with psychosocial disability. Tracy has extensive experience conducting therapy via videoconference, having worked solely in telehealth for the past 6 years. This allows Tracy to connect with clients all across the country.
Tracy’s approach to therapy is grounded in her upbringing on a farm, where creativity and practical problem-solving were part of everyday life. This background has shaped her unique style of therapy, which combines practical strategies, with creativity and a deep understanding of the human mind (specifically executive functioning and nervous system regulation).
Tracy is passionate about using a trauma informed coaching-style approach in her work, partnering with clients to empower them in identifying and working towards their personal goals. She helps clients navigate and work with their unique nervous systems and brains, not against them, as they strive to achieve meaningful outcomes in their own ways.
When not working, Tracy enjoys being a Mum of 2 children, walking amongst the trees, lego, puzzles, listening to music, going to the gym and mostly recently, scuba-diving (a very proud achievement of hers recently and something that she thought she would never ever do)!
