What drove you to choose a career in your discipline?

I chose occupational therapy because I wanted to go in to a career where I could help people while also being creative, thinking outside the box, and solving problems in unique ways.

Do you have any special interest areas in therapy?

My main interest area is Paediatrics. I enjoy working with my younger clients and their families at the start of their journey to empower them to develop skills to explore their world further in their own unique way.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

My favourite part of the job is working alongside families and celebrating the small wins made in therapy. It is always so exciting to celebrate the small steps, no matter what the goal is!

Why did you join Superyou?

I joined Superyou as their tagline “reimagine therapy” was something that fit my values. Having an organisation that supports me to think outside the box when it comes to working with my clients and their goals means that I am encouraged to think of ways to work with my clients that may be outside the conventional “idea” of therapy.
