Ellen Van Beek is a Speech Pathologist who is passionate about supporting people to communicate with confidence and joy across all stages of life. Inspired by her brother’s experience with speech pathology growing up, Ellen values bringing fun, play, and creativity into therapy, knowing that learning happens best when it feels engaging, meaningful, and motivating.
Ellen enjoys working across the lifespan and takes a collaborative, client‑centred approach to therapy. She loves learning alongside clients and families to support progress toward goals that matter most to them. Ellen has a strong interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and is particularly passionate about how AAC can unlock meaningful communication with family, friends, and the wider world. Being part of each client’s communication journey is something she considers a true privilege.
Ellen brings an open‑minded, enthusiastic approach to her work and values thinking outside the box while learning from the incredible team around her. She enjoys collaborating within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment and was drawn to Superyou for its strong graduate program, emphasis on training and support, diverse client presentations, and genuine commitment to work‑life balance.
Outside of work, Ellen loves spending time at the beach, enjoying mochi, and eating avo toast. What she finds most rewarding is making therapy fun and celebrating alongside clients as they achieve goals they’re proud of.
