What drove you to choose a career in your discipline?
I have always had a passion for helping others. I always thought everyone should have access to do the same things I, and those around me do or take for granted.
Do you have any special interest areas in therapy?
I would love to specialise in paediatric OT, I have a specific interest in helping school age students achieve their best and thrive socially and academically. I can build good rapport with my calm and fun nature, and want to use these traits to have those around me.
What’s your favourite part of your job?
I love meeting so many different people, cultures and abilities. No two days are the same, and I have the freedom and knowledge to make therapy which is traditionally boring, into something people can learn, grow and smile from.
Why did you join Superyou?
Superyou stood out to me with their leaders, support and commitment to their staff. This industry is demanding and burnout is high, so having a company that supports me and listens, whilst making the work environment a safe and fun one was of utmost importance to me.
What does Reimagining Therapy look like to you?
Reimagining Therapy to me, is having people engaged and motivated to attend therapy. Engagement is the foundation for learning, so making therapy interesting and relative to the person is so important.
