What drove you to choose a career in your discipline?

I love how OT’s focus on engaging people in meaningful and functional tasks and building strong rapport and connections with people. I also love the holistic approach of OT, I am constantly reminded to think creatively when it comes to supporting people achieve their goals.

Do you have any special interest areas in therapy?

I have always loved work in pediatrics across a range of goal areas. I have also recently enjoyed working with some adolescents and young adults.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

Getting to meet so many wonderful, interesting people and listening to their story. I feel so lucky to be a part of all my clients journeys. Working in pediatrics is also lots of fun, sometimes I think I am having more fun than children I am working with.
