How long have you worked in the disability sector?

What drove you to choose a career in your discipline?

I knew I wanted to work with people and support them in achieving their goals. I have always loved and advocated for all different types of communication and this drove me to be the Speechie I am today.

Do you have any special interest areas in therapy?

My special area of interest is Augmented and Alternative Communication, also known as AAC, working with early intervention, people who have experienced trauma, and people with complex communication needs across the lifespan. I am dedicated to working with individual clients, their families, and their support to ensure that they are able to communicate and participate to the best of their ability in all of their environments.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

No two days are the same! I love the ability to be flexible, have open and honest conversations and support people to achieve their functional goals.

Why did you join Superyou?

I joined Superyou because I wanted to join a company that represents and aligns with my values. I look forward to developing my clinical skills with the support of a great team.

Being able to think outside of the box and support clients to achieve their functional goals.
