What drove you to choose a career in your discipline?
I chose Occupational Therapy because I aspire to help people become the best version of themselves that they can be. This looks different for everyone which I love. I enjoy helping people understand that their differences are what makes them special and supporting them to advocate for their needs and desires. Occupational Therapy allows me to learn new things every day and use a holistic approach to therapy.
Do you have any special interest areas in therapy?
I am still in the process of finding out what my special interests are throughout my journey at Superyou. I like having the flexibility to try out new things. I hope to develop the skills to work with psychosocial clients and to help people learn how to find love and develop mature relationships.
What’s your favourite part of your job?
I enjoy helping people understand their emotions and how their emotions impact their behaviour. I love exploring sensory preferences and understanding what makes each person tick, or ick. My favourite part of the job is learning from my clients.
