What drove you to choose a career in your discipline?

I had no idea what I wanted to do coming out of high school, but after speaking to a physio friend who recommended speech pathology, I started doing that and haven’t looked back!

Do you have any special interest areas in therapy?

I really enjoy supporting and learning about stuttering and hope to specialise in this further. I also want to dig deeper in neurorehabilitation and dysphagia.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

The amazing team and support to become the best professional and clinician possible!

Why did you join Superyou?

The vibrant and energetic feel it gave off as well as all of the clinicians I had spoken to who were already working at Superyou! I also found the Kickstarter Program to be one of the best graduate programs I had seen around.

What does Reimagining Therapy look like to you?

Reimagining Therapy is about breaking the mould of what the traditional or mainstream therapy looks like. It’s not about changing the evidence-base behind therapies, but about including all stakeholders as equals and giving them a seat at the table when deciding what therapy looks like for each client as individiduals.
